Apply for Medicaid

Families whose income is at or below 133% of the Federal Poverty Level, have Supplemental Social Security Income (SSI) or certain Medicare beneficiaries in the household, or have children in foster care or receiving adoption assistance, may qualify for Medicaid.  Families with uninsured children who are not eligible for Medicaid but whose family income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level may qualify for Nevada Check up.

An eligibility pre-screening test is available through Nevada Health Link's 2015 Enrollment Process and families may also have their complete eligibility determined by applying for benefits online or in person at a Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) office.  The DWSS website provides office locations under "Contact Us" and the online benefits application under "Access Nevada".
