and helpful to my daughter that’s what’s important.”  • “I had never
been on Medicaid until I became a single mother of two very young kids. As a
single mother with no support from family or friends, I had to go from
working full time to only working part time. I have a son who requires a lot
of medical services. I would not have been able to afford medical treatment
for both of my children if I did not have Medicaid. I cannot afford private
health insurance for my children alone and Medicaid even covers my kids’
dental needs. The help I have received from Medicaid has been enormous; I am
  truly grateful.         | |
