The Division of Health Care Financing and Policy is currently renewing the application for the HCBS Waiver for the Frail Elderly (FE). The renewal must be submitted to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) no later than March 30, 2020. All FE Waiver services will remain the same, but there will be minor changes in the application. A summary of changes is listed in the Main Module of the application, #1. Major Changes section.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires that states obtain public input for a waiver renewal in accordance with 42 CFR 441.304(f). The DHCFP requests public comment regarding the FE Waiver Renewal.
