Advisory Committee on Medicaid Innovation
The Advisory Committee on Medicaid Innovation (ACMI) is an advisory committee that serves in an advisory capacity to make annual recommendations to the Director of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Per NRS 422.165 the function of the Medical Care Advisory Group is to "…make such recommendations to the Director as it deems appropriate relating to opportunities to improve Medicaid or to increase access to health insurance."
All members of ACMI are appointed by the Nevada Director of DHHS for a two-year term. The Committee meets quarterly.
